We received several interesting pieces of information during the Montreal Canadiens' end-of-season review.

The future of some players became clearer, notably that of forward Christian Dvorak, who is also Cole Caufield's best friend and roommate.
We learned during his final press conference of the season that he was summoned for a meeting with Kent Hughes, and let's just say, he didn't seem very optimistic about continuing his journey in Montreal.
He spoke in the past tense, and he really sounded like a guy who played his last game with the Canadiens.

It Smells Like the End for Christian Dvorak with the Montreal Canadiens

I don't know what was said during that meeting, but it clearly didn't give him much reassurance.
"Listening to Christian Dvorak, you can definitely believe he won't be back with the Canadiens.

He says he met with Kent Hughes this morning but refuses to talk about his future in Montreal."

Look, things could still change, but it's not looking too good.
Let's not forget that before leaving for the Four Nations Face-Off a few months ago, Jake Evans was also speaking about his time in Montreal in the past tense, but turnarounds like that don't happen all that often.

One thing's for sure, it's shaping up to be an interesting offseason for the Habs, and it starts now.
We're also quite eager to hear what Jeff Gorton and Kent Hughes will have to say this Monday when they deliver their own review of the 2024-2025 Montreal Canadiens season.
To be continued!
