Kent Hughes officially set to hold a major press conference after the Trade Deadline to address the media
Unsurprisingly, in the last few minutes, the Montreal Canadiens organization announced that General Manager Kent Hughes will be holding a press conference today a little after 3 p.m.
He will thus discuss his trades, or his trade, on this 2024 trade deadline day.
"Happy NHL trade deadline!
The Canadiens will not practice today after returning home from their 4-game road trip.
General Manager Kent Hughes will hold his press conference after the deadline later this afternoon once the trade deadline has passed, at 3 p.m. ET (exact time to be determined)." - Via Priyanta Emrith
We are already looking forward to hearing what the Canadiens' GM will have to say at that time. Let's hope he has several trades to explain and analyze.
Happy trade deadline day, dear Habs fans!
Let's remember that Kent Hughes concluded his first trade yesterday at noon, as he acquired former first-round pick Jacob Perreault in exchange for Jan Mysak.
This seems to be an excellent first trade for MTL!
