The young Montreal Canadiens defenseman Kaiden Guhle was involved in a car accident.
According to a report by Marco Normandin (HABSolumentFan), who was present yesterday at the premiere of the TV series on the Montreal Canadiens' rebuild, there is a segment where Guhle recounts a frightening event he experienced.
A car accident that could have gone terribly wrong for Kaiden Guhle
In the first episode, there are clips from Guhle's life off the ice, with cameras following him throughout the production.
As part of the documentary, according to Normandin, it quickly becomes apparent that the driver's side window of his car is completely shattered.
It's quite striking on camera.
But what caused such damage to his car?
Guhle is asked about it, and he explains that he was involved in a frightening road accident.
"While driving with his window slightly open, he says a large rock hit the top of his window, which immediately cracked.
[...] He realizes as he tells the story that if his window had been lowered just another inch or two, he could have potentially been hit in the head by the rock, which could have resulted in serious, possibly even fatal, consequences."

Fortunately, aside from the material damage to his car, there were no injuries. However, it's still terrifying to think that such a simple accident could have ended much worse for Guhle.
You can watch this first episode starting September 18 on the Crave platform.
