We suspected it, but another injury has indeed been confirmed among the Montreal Canadiens' forwards.
It's not necessarily an injury that will force a forward out of the lineup, but it is at minimum an injury that is bothering a player and will prevent him from being anywhere close to 100%.
Young
Jared Davidson left the weekend game against the Maple Leafs and now appears to be dealing with some discomfort.

This will be a situation to monitor over the next few hours.
That said, playing through an injury is probably not ideal for a young player who is truly trying to prove himself, especially one who brings a lot of physicality or "sandpaper" as Martin St-Louis says.
Jared Davidson, age 23, is a 6-foot, 183-pound forward who was a fifth-round pick by the Montreal Canadiens in 2022, 130th overall.
He has 11 points in 13 games this season with the Laval Rocket, including nine goals, and has already played four games with the Canadiens (no points, minus-1, and two penalty minutes).
If the injury bothers him too much, newcomer
Alexandre Texier could replace him and be inserted into the lineup.
