Ivan Demidov and Reinbacher Denied Media Access at Rookie Camp Today for Unknown Reason

The excellent journalist Marc De Foy has just pointed out a rather unusual situation with the Montreal Canadiens involving young Ivan Demidov.
At the moment, there is no way (for journalists) to speak with young Demidov. Some have asked to speak with him, and the request was immediately denied.

This situation is causing quite a bit of buzz today.

And according to what De Foy mentioned, everything indicates that Chantal Machabée and her colleagues had absolutely nothing to do with this decision.
The refusal came from higher up.
Personally, I am 100% in favor of protecting young players (like Demidov and Reinbacher), but I have to admit that this one is hard to understand.
Right now, everything is absolutely great for the Montreal Canadiens!
Everything is going well, everything is positive, and everyone is happy.
So what was the risk in letting Reinbacher and Demidov answer two or three friendly questions?
Anyway, it's up to you to form your own opinion on this, but in this case, I believe it was a rather unnecessary refusal.
Can't wait for the season to start!
