TVA Sports journalist, Renaud Lavoie, has just criticized a strange decision made by the National Hockey League involving the Montreal Canadiens.

He even suggests that it's worth questioning if someone in the NHL has a grudge against the Canadiens, given the completely ridiculous schedule concocted by the NHL for the Habs over the past few weeks.
«Still, I have serious questions, not about the Canadiens, but about how the NHL created the schedule for the Montreal Camadiens. In fact, the Habs are currently dealing with four different time zones in one week!» - Renaud Lavoie

An extremely difficult schedule for the Montreal Canadiens, Renaud Lavoie criticizes

He continues:
«Needless to say, the risk of injuries will be very high in the coming days because the recovery time will simply be nonexistent. Not to mention that the Canadiens are facing three consecutive weekends with back-to-back games.

It makes you wonder if someone in the NHL is against the Canadiens after deciding to impose this nonsense on the organization.» - Renaud Lavoie

It's hard to disagree with the TVA Sports journalist on this point.
Especially since, as he points out, while the Canadiens were in Las Vegas, they were sent back to Chicago before being sent down to Denver, Colorado, for a second game in less than 48 hours.
Let's just say it's very intense, and fatigue will undoubtedly set in.
We recommend this column by Renaud Lavoie:
Let's just hope that everyone stays healthy and that this accumulated fatigue (in addition to the lack of recovery time) doesn't lead to a wave of injuries.
Speaking of injuries and players being sidelined, let's remember that the Canadiens announced, just minutes before tonight's game, that Patrik Laine and David Savard would have to miss the game in Chicago.
We still don't know if they'll be able to play tomorrow's game in Colorado against the Avalanche and Nathan MacKinnon.
A situation to keep an eye on.
