Former Canadiens Player Shares Disturbing Stories About the Kostitsyn Brothers' Time in Montreal
There are players who left their mark on the Montreal Canadiens organization for the right reasons, and others.. for not-so-great ones.
I'll let you decide which category you place the brothers Andrei and Sergei Kostitsyn in, but one thing's for sure - they definitely made headlines.
First, there's former Montreal Canadiens defenseman Hal Gill, who had plenty to say about Sergei during a memorable appearance on the Spittin' Chiclets podcast:

More recently, it was journalist Marc Antoine Godin (Radio-Canada) who shared a jaw-dropping story - this time about Andrei Kostitsyn.

It was on an episode of the Basu & Godin Notebook podcast that Marc Antoine Godin recounted the story.
It's definitely unusual.
In the latest episode of the Basu and Godin Notebook, they share stories about the Habs from the late 2000s-early 2010s.
Godin talks about the time the Kostitsyn brothers were linked to a shady dr*g dealer who had been arrested at the time.
So Godin asked Andrei Kostitsyn after a game if he personally knew this guy known for hanging out with Habs players and "facilitating them with alcohol and women."
Andrei Kostitsyn just told him: "I can do that myself."
Godin talks about the time the Kostitsyn brothers were linked to a shady dr*g dealer who had been arrested at the time.
