Former Montreal Canadiens forward Guillaume Latendresse made an extremely courageous decision a few months ago.

Going through a difficult time mentally, he decided to listen to himself and put his many projects on hold (notably with TVA Sports and La Poche Bleue) in order to take care of himself.
It's an exemplary gesture!
Since the following publication.
"I wanted to write to let you know that I am currently going through a difficult time mentally.

This has been a recurring situation for a few years now, probably a symptom of my concussions during my career, and I've decided to try to address my problem this week.

I will therefore be taking a break from all my professional activities, La Poche Bleue, TVA, and Le Bataillon - all of which have been very understanding and have offered me the necessary support - so that I can take some time to heal.

This is something I probably should have done a few years ago but always put off.

I appreciate your respect for my family and me during this challenge, as well as your support over the years, whether it was on the ice or behind the mic.

I consider myself lucky to be able to count on you, and I already look forward to seeing you again once I've properly taken care of myself and my health.

See you soon!" - Guillaume Latendresse
The Tender has indeed completely disappeared from the public sphere since then.

We have news about the much-loved Guillaume Latendresse

A recent photo of Latendresse and his beautiful family has been shared, and it's clear that the former Canadiens #84 has really changed physically.

A change of appearance that hasn't gone unnoticed and that reflects his impressive strength of character.
I'll never repeat enough how much I admire Latendresse for having made that decision - to put everything on pause in order to focus on what truly matters.
A bit selfishly, I can't wait to see him back on television because I love his work, but at the same time, I simply wish him well and hope he enjoys his time with his wonderful family.
