Extremely Rare Scene Goes Down at the Bell Centre Last Night: A Major Mistake From a Broadcaster Has Gone Viral
It's very likely already happened, and it's absolutely normal and human, but I believe I witnessed the first mistake (live) by Michel Lacroix yesterday at the Bell Centre.
A little hilarious mistake that we can put in the blooper category.
A player who didn't even play was named as the third star of the Canadiens/Coyotes game
"Josh Brown is presented as the third star of the game, at the Bell Centre.
The problem?
He didn't even play." - Via Alexandre Pratt The third star was eventually awarded to Arizona Coyotes forward Mattias Maccelli, who racked up a point in addition to taking four shots on goal.
In short, it says a lot about Michel Lacroix's excellent work (the fact that this little gaffe is making so much buzz today), let's just say it really doesn't happen often.
In my opinion, the best public address announcer in the entire NHL!
Interesting anecdote under Pratt's post:
