Devils Forward Reveals the Unusual Nickname of Young Canadiens Star Ivan Demidov

We know that every Montreal Canadiens player has a nickname in the locker room.
We can think of "Wi-Fi" for Arber Xhekaj, "Snacks" for Samuel Montembeault, and several others, but now we have an idea of what young Ivan Demidov's nickname might be in the locker room here.
Or at least, we now know what his friends call him.
The nickname of young Ivan Demidov is Vanya
This isn't the first time we've heard it-it's exactly the nickname his girlfriend used in an interview-but still.. that's his nickname!
Check out one of the statements made by one of his best friends, New Jersey Devils forward Arseni Gritsyuk:
"He gets recognized everywhere," said Gritsyuk.
"We were in a restaurant and someone came over and asked: 'Are you Ivan Demidov?'
Vanya answered: 'No, sorry, you've got the wrong person.'
And this was in Ottawa!"
