We had an important development in the last few hours, involving the young defenseman of the Montreal Canadiens, David Reinbacher.

Against all odds, the Habs announced that Reinbacher has traveled with the team for the trip to California.

Does this mean he will return to play directly with the Montreal Canadiens, and not with the Laval Rocket?

It seems like a possibility, but in any case, it's definitely great news for the young player, the fans, and the organization in general.

David Reinbacher inserted into the Canadiens lineup to replace Kaiden Guhle?

For a few days now, several experts have been discussing the best possible replacement for Guhle who is out long-term.

What if that replacement is Reinbacher?

In any case, it will be a story to follow in the next few hours since the young right-handed defenseman (and 5th overall pick) seems really close to returning to play.

This is one of the very good pieces of news this weekend.

David Reinbacher, 20 years old, is a right-handed defenseman, 6 feet 3 inches, and 207 pounds, who was drafted 5th overall in 2023 by the Montreal Canadiens.

Last season, he earned 5 points in 11 games with the Laval Rocket (plus-minus of +6) and 11 points in 35 games with Kloten HC.

He has looked good and confident during Habs practices over the past few weeks:

We are really looking forward to seeing what the future holds for him.
