Following the statement by David Savard last night on TVA Sports, we learned that Martin unfortunately had to suddenly leave the team's entourage due to his son.
Knowing this, it's absolutely, but absolutely not worth digging any further. It's their private and personal life.
Knowing that it involves his son, we can only think very hard about him and send him tons of positive vibes.
Cole Caufield comments on Martin St-Louis's departure
Many players and coaches have agreed to comment on the news over the past few hours, and it was young Cole Caufield's turn.
We know he has a very special bond with Martin.
The Canadiens' players all seemed clearly affected by the situation during post-game interviews following the loss to the Flames, but especially Cole.
He summarized well the impact of Martin St-Louis within the Canadiens' entourage, besides his great role as head coach.
