A simple call-up can sometimes trigger far more than an isolated adjustment within the Montreal Canadiens organization.

Within the Tricolore, the chain of decisions moved quickly.
The Laval Rocket have reassigned forwards Riley Kidney and Israel Mianscum to the Trois-Rivières Lions. A logical move in the organization's current context.
Even though Evans is still being evaluated, the organization preferred to act without delay.
To keep a balanced lineup and offer ice time to everyone, the Rocket therefore proceeded with two demotions in the last few minutes. Kidney and Mianscum were not penalized. Instead, they find themselves in a favorable context to continue playing regularly and further their development.

Another personnel move announced within the Montreal Canadiens organization, this time involving two depth players

"Forwards Riley Kidney and Israel Mianscum have been reassigned to the Trois-Rivières Lions. - Laval Rocket
Kidney, 22, remains an important prospect for the organization. Drafted by the Canadiens, he is known for his hockey IQ and offensive instincts.
A stint in Trois-Rivières allows him to stay in rhythm and maintain a clear offensive role.
Israel Mianscum, 22, is following a similar trajectory. The forward brings energy and a constant presence, qualities valued across every level of the organization.
An NHL injury leads to a recall to Laval, which then results in adjustments in the ECHL. The snowball effect is real.
For the Canadiens, the priority remains Jake Evans' health and short-term lineup stability. But in the background, the entire organization is adjusting as well.
We will keep you updated on developments, especially concerning Evans.
More details to come.
