Believe it or not, the Laval Rocket are currently the best team in the entire American Hockey League. That says a lot about the prospects coming to Montreal, and it says a lot about head coach Pascal Vincent.
From the moment he was hired by Kent Hughes, it was clear that Vincent was overqualified to be just an "ordinary" AHL coach, he clearly deserves a job in the National Hockey League as a head coach.
After this historic season for the Laval Rocket, don't be surprised if the organization unfortunately loses Pascal Vincent to another NHL team that decides to make him its head coach.

And yes, he deserves a spot in the big league.
It's a tricky situation because we don't want to lose him, but at the same time, we hope he finds a well-deserved permanent position in the NHL.
