We have two major announcements, coming directly from Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens.
Let's try to stay rational, but it's hard not to say that everything is starting to fall apart after a brilliant start to the season for Martin St-Louis' squad.
Dach, who had been performing well and was finally starting to break out, has just suffered yet another stroke of bad luck.
He sustained a foot fracture and will be out for 4 to 6 weeks.
Consequently, the Montreal Canadiens immediately announced the call-up of Quebec forward
Joshua Roy, who receives an unexpected promotion and a new opportunity in the NHL.
Kirby Dach, 24 years old, is a 6-foot-4, 221-pound forward who has been unable to avoid injuries ever since he was drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks (third overall).
This season, he had collected 7 points in 15 games, including 5 goals, after recording 22 points in 57 games last season.
Joshua Roy, 22 years old, is a 6-foot, 192-pound forward who has 7 points in 10 games this season with the Laval Rocket.
In the National Hockey League, we're talking about 11 points in 36 career games for Roy.
More details to come, but things are getting increasingly complicated for the Canadiens.
