As we reported to you in the past few minutes, Montreal Canadiens forward Kirby Dach has been moved to a different group today.
The confirmation is right here:
In short, we knew that
Ivan Demidov and
Patrik Laine would have a new center for today's intra-squad game, but we didn't know who it would be.
Oliver Kapanen replaces Kirby Dach at center between Patrik Laine and Ivan Demidov today
I know a certain Grant McCagg who will be very happy to see this today!
"With Kirby Dach not in the scrimmage as they manage his return to play, Oliver Kapanen gets the chance to play with Patrik Laine and Ivan Demidov today."

Oliver Kapanen, 22 years old, is a right-handed center who stands 6-foot-2 and weighs 194 pounds.
A second-round pick by the Montreal Canadiens in 2021 (64th overall), he recorded 2 points in 18 NHL games last season, as well as 6 points in 11 playoff games with the Laval Rocket.
It was in Sweden where he truly excelled, putting up 35 points in 36 games, including 15 goals.
This will certainly be an important day for him! It's up to him to show what he can do as the second-line center alongside Patrik Laine and Ivan Demidov.
