Beautiful Sight Live From Brossard for the Canadiens as an Unexpected Surprise Hits the Ice
We have some great news to report this morning about Montreal Canadiens forward Ivan Demidov.
Clearly, just like Lane Hutson, he's a true hockey lover, and he's already back to work.
Ivan Demidov's Vacation Is Over!
For the first time in a while, there's live action from Brossard, as the young Demidov is back on the ice.
What a sight to see! A true professional!
It's clear that Demidov is motivated to have a big summer of preparation in order to arrive fully ready for the Canadiens' next training camp.
It also confirms that Demidov is already back from vacation and will be staying in Montreal all summer.
That's good news because, as you can see in the footage, he'll benefit from the Canadiens' resources, whether it's the coaching staff or the team's facilities.
It's all positive for the young Demidov!
At 19 years old, Demidov recorded 2 points in 2 games with the Canadiens this season, plus 2 points in 5 NHL playoff games.
Also this season, he added 49 points in 65 KHL games (plus 5 points in 6 playoff games), setting a record for a player under 20 in that league.
The young forward is heading into next season as one of the favorites to win the Calder Trophy, awarded to the NHL's Rookie of the Year, and he's also among the top contenders to earn a spot in the Canadiens' top-six forward group.
Who will be his center?
That's the big question.
