Montreal Canadiens defenseman Alexandre Carrier recently confirmed, live on RDS, a fantastic rumor involving young Ivan Demidov.
It's truly special and exceptional for the future of the organization, but Carrier confirmed that Demidov will indeed be spending the entire summer in the city!
There were suspicions, and some sources had already hinted at it, but it's interesting to see an active member of the Habs confirm it now.

It will be a very special summer for Demidov and his girlfriend, and I'm sure they'll love it here.
"There are really a lot of players who stay in Montreal, maybe not for the whole summer, but often.. You know, we all know that Montreal is a really enjoyable city in the summer.
And we're lucky to be able to train in Brossard, to have access to the ice, obviously the gym, and our chefs are there in the summer too.
So that makes a huge difference in the development of young players.
Demidov is spending the summer here too, so that's not nothing, we're really lucky in that regard."

So this is all great news!
Not only do we learn that Demidov will spend the entire summer in Montreal, but we also learn that several other Habs players will be doing the same, so they'll all be together and the younger players will be well surrounded.
We're lucky to have a guy like Alexandre Carrier with the Montreal Canadiens!
