After Joe Veleno, Canadiens Add a Second Forward to the Organization Today
We have some action and new names within the Montreal Canadiens organization today.
We're talking here about a one-year contract for Joe Veleno.
A few hours after the Veleno signing, another hometown forward has joined the Montreal Canadiens organization.
Julien Paillé Joins the Montreal Canadiens Organization
He'll start at the third tier, as just announced by the Trois-Rivières Lions.
Here's the official announcement:
"The Lions announce the signing of Julien Paillé!
The young Quebec native will strengthen the offensive unit for the upcoming season. This power forward leads by example with his work ethic and leadership, and he will no doubt add some punch to the attack!"

We're talking about a hardworking power forward who could definitely turn heads and climb the ranks within the Canadiens' organization.
Julien Paillé, 20 years old, is a left winger from Sherbrooke. He stands 6 feet tall and weighs 180 pounds.
Paillé played for the Gatineau Olympiques and the Baie-Comeau Drakkar in the QMJHL, and he recorded 38 points in 54 games in his final junior season (21 goals).
His best season was in 2023-2024, when he put up 53 points in 63 games, including an impressive 27 goals!
