Jonathan Drouin is absent due to a right wrist injury, and his absence will be indefinite. Luckily, it is not the same wrist as before (November 2019), which is good news under the circumstances.
In the case of Joel Edmundson, rehabilitation follows the process, but let's say it progresses very slowly... I remind you that he is injured in the back. Will the number 44 put on his jersey this year? One can doubt it.
Christian Dvorak, meanwhile, will be back following the break from the All-Star Game. He is dealing with an upper-body injury, but according to the organization, he does not suffer from a concussion.
Finally, Mathieu Perreault will be back in three-to-four weeks, he who is dealing with a lower-body injury.
Thank you Chantal Machabée for bringing so much transparency!
