For the past few months, the Vegas Golden Knights' reputation among NHL players has continued to plummet. The word is clearly getting out.
Fewer and fewer players want to play for Las Vegas, simply because they have proven, time and time again, that they have no loyalty to their players (even the veterans).
In short, the questionable treatment of certain players by the Golden Knights' management is coming to haunt them more and more.
As mentioned by our colleagues
at Gohabsgo.com, new evidence has just surfaced and that is Paul Stastny's decision not to sign with the Golden Knights.
According to what reputable Elliotte Friedman (Sportsnet) reports, Stastny has made the decision to join the Carolina Hurricanes, and turn his back on the Golden Knights, even though Vegas offered him considerably more money.
Plus, let's remember that Stastny is a former Golden Knights and had success there.
"I heard that the Golden Knights were one of the teams interested in bringing Stastny back. He's still skating with some of the Vegas players, and I was even told that the team offered him more money, but he still decided to go to Carolina." - Elliotte Friedman
