We just learned the identity of the mysterious man who was in Kent Hughes' box yesterday, and it confirms that we are truly passionate
As you may know, fans of the Montreal Canadiens are highly engaged and passionate.
We're on the lookout for everything, and we had a great example of this last night during the game between the Montreal Canadiens and the Pittsburgh Penguins live from the Bell Centre.
When the camera showed general manager Kent Hughes in his box, many keen observers noticed that a "mysterious" man was sitting next to him.
It wasn't Jeff Gorton, as usual, and it wasn't a known executive of the Habs.
So, who was it? Who was in Jeff Gorton's place?
An upcoming hire? An executive from another club coming to negotiate?
It caused a lot of buzz on the web yesterday, and now we have the answer, thanks to journalist Eric Engels who went to the sources.
"For those who asked me, the mysterious man next to Kent Hughes during tonight's game was just his brother-in-law."
There you have it!
