In the last few hours, a surprising piece of information has been circulating about Montreal Canadiens' young forward Juraj Slafkovsky.
Basically, it's that Devils game descriptors announced yesterday during the Montreal-New Jersey game that they had heard that Slafkovsky's rookie tournament was over.
It snowballed on social media.
It was quite important information, because it could have told a lot about the CH's intentions towards the young Slovakian, or about a possible injury suffered by Slafkovsky.
In the end, we just learned that Juraj Slafkovsky will be back at his position tomorrow:
"Guhle and Slafkovsky will play tomorrow." - Marc-Andre Perreault
So journalist Renaud Lavoie (TVA Sports) was right, when he published this last night:
"The players who did not play in Friday's game, Juraj Slafkovsky, Jan Mysak, Justin Barron and Arber Xhekaj will be in Sunday's game. Players who are more likely to be invited to training camp next week will play two of the three games in the rookie tournament. At least that's the plan." - Renaud Lavoie Good news for fans of the CH!
Slafkovsky will indeed be in uniform and at his spot tomorrow! We're really looking forward to seeing him in action again, as he showed some great things in his first game.
