As you may know, the head coach of the Montreal Canadiens, Martin St-Louis, has a habit of training by running up and down the steps of the Bell Centre on game days.
Well, today, just a few hours before the clash between the Habs and the Washington Capitals, we witnessed a special moment when St-Louis interrupted his traditional workout to have a hearty chat with none other than the great Alex Ovechkin.
A sight to behold.
Footage captured by Luc Gélinas, from RDS.
"Martin St-Louis interrupted his stair run to greet Alex Ovechkin, who was his opponent for 10 seasons in the NHL."
We love it! There's a lot of respect between the two men, but don't expect them to give each other any breaks tonight.
It promises to be exciting, especially since Ovechkin is currently going through a rare scoring drought. He'll be fired up tonight.
