Tonight, for the second time in less than 48 hours, the Tampa Bay Lightning face elimination, while the Colorado Avalanche will have the opportunity to get their hands on the precious Stanley Cup.
Nathan MacKinnon and Cale Makar's team will possibly have some obstacles in their way:
On the other hand, Jon Cooper and the Lightning have also learned some bad news.
"Jon Cooper says he expects no lineup changes for Game #6 tonight, which means Brayden Point will be out.
Cooper on Point: "It's unfortunate because it's a serious injury." - Chris Johnston Clearly, this is not what the Lightning wanted and it's disappointing news. So effectively, it's confirmed, star forward, Brayden Point, will not be back in action tonight.
Point was injured in game 7 against the Toronto Maple Leafs, and he has been trying to get back into the game since then, but it hasn't been successful. We can probably say that his season and his 2022 series are over.
More details will follow!
