Trade to come between the CH and the Oilers? A serious rumour has just surfaced and it directly involves Joel Edmundson
In the last few hours, a big trade rumor has surfaced and it involves the Montreal Canadiens and the Edmonton Oilers.
We try to mention it as often as possible, but let's remember that there is a huge difference between a simple trade proposal with no basis (to entertain), and a trade rumor that seems to come from reliable sources.

These are things that have been discussed for a while, but really seem to be on the verge of happening. Anyway, the discussions have intensified and it's coming from several credible sources.
Let's face it, it would indeed be perfectly Kent Hughes-like to acquire a young project like Puljujarvi, and give him another chance to blossom.
At 24 years old, Jesse Puljujarvi was drafted 4th overall in 2016. He has 10 points in 49 games this season, but he had a 25 point in 29 games to start last season.
He is signed at $3 million per season and his contract expires this summer.
