Last night, the analyst of the Montreal Canadiens games, for the COGECO network, Dany Dubé, spoke about what could happen with the Habs, by the NHL trade deadline of March 21.

Who will stay? Who will leave?

According to Dubé, Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton will complete two trades by March 21(maybe 3) :

«Gorton and Hughes should not allow themselves to be influenced by the games played since Martin St-Louis arrived behind the bench... The team is turning a corner. Management must identify the right talent to adequately develop its team. I think Montreal will make two trades, no more, by the trade deadline. I am convinced that Ben Chiarot will leave. I believe Artturi Lehkonen will also be traded. The latter is not an untouchable. The Edmonton Oilers should be watching for offers from the Habs. They need a goalkeeper. Why not Jake Allen? Obviously, a defender like Chiarot would be a great acquisition for them."

Do you agree with him? The deadline is eleven days away, so a trade could be announced any minute.

In the case of Ben Chiarot, it actually seems to be settled :

In Lehkonen's case, many seem to believe his current value is simply too high for Kent Hughes to agree to keep him with the team.

If Habs are offered a Blake Coleman like return, if offered a first-round pick and prospect for Lehkonen, would you trade him, or keep him?

There is also the name of Jake Allen, to watch closely when he'll be back healthy.
