As you know, there was plenty of action today at the Bell Centre as the Montreal Canadiens organization held its traditional intra-squad game between the Reds and Whites.

A beautiful day and a beautiful event, for a beautiful cause.

In the last seconds, a few minutes after the end of the game, the Montreal Canadiens made a nice announcement.

"Thank you to all the fans in attendance at the Reds vs Whites intrasquad game presented by @igaqc.

Thanks to you, we were able to raise $184,540 which will be donated to @chcfoundation and @tableedeschefs."

Wow, congratulations! A nice amount of nearly $185,000 raised for the Canadiens Children's Foundation, and La Tablée des Chefs.

Two great causes, one that allows children from underprivileged backgrounds to move, dream and grow up healthy, and the other that helps feed people in need and better develop the culinary education of young people. Hats off to them!
