The Montreal Canadiens lineup changed quite a bit today. First, we received two great news:
With these injury returns, some players had to be scratched. This is particularly the case for forwards Mathieu Perreault and Michael Pezzetta.
But, there is more. The Habs organization has just announced that defenseman Corey Schueneman has been reassigned to the Laval Rocket.
Schueneman was however among the players who really benefited from the arrival of Martin St-Louis behind the bench. He seemed to be in the good graces of the new head coach.
Schueneman is likely a victim of not having to go through NHL waivers.
Good point here by Luc Gélinas:
«With the return of Byron and Evans, #Habs found themselves with one player above the limit. And poor Corey Schueneman who goes to Laval after putting a few thousand dollars on his credit card during the rookie dinner."
