With the opening of the free agent market fast approaching, all eyes are on the goaltending market. For teams like the Toronto Maple Leafs, Edmonton Oilers, Pittsburgh Penguins and anyone else looking for an addition in goal, there will be many options on the market.
Marc-Andre Fleury, Darcy Kuemper and Jack Campbell will likely draw the most interest, but secondary options like Martin Jones, Braden Holtby and Thomas Greiss will also be available.
The biggest name on the list will unsurprisingly be Fleury. According to NHL whistleblower Elliotte Friedman, Fleury appears to have narrowed his options down to just four teams: the Minnesota Wild, Pittsburgh Penguins, Colorado Avalanche and Toronto Maple Leafs.
It would be surprising, however, if the Quebecer returned to his first love, the Penguins, when they agreed to terms on a new contract with backup goalie Casey DeSmith.
