The Maple Leafs and Dubas are reportedly trying to make a big deal and they have a clear target
According to what highly regarded insider Elliotte Friedman (Sportsnet) reports, the Toronto Maple Leafs, and their GM Kyle Dubas, are reportedly active behind the scenes to make a big move or two this summer.

Among those on Toronto's radar is goalie John Gibson, who would be (according to Friedman) their top target.
Admittedly, current Leafs goalie Jack Campbell has had his ups and downs this season. On top of that, he will be a free agent this summer.

John Gibson, 28, has a career 0.915% efficiency rate and a goals-against average of 2.67. All of this while serving as the starting goaltender for a rebuilding team for much of his career.
