The Canadiens have made an interesting decision concerning Jonathan Drouin

Earlier, we talked about the Montreal Canadiens' lineup and the trios formed for tomorrow's game against the Arizona Coyotes, but there is an important element to add.
Not only will Quebec forward Jonathan Drouin be in uniform, but Martin St-Louis has decided to offer him a very nice promotion!
If Drouin has been ignored on the CH's power play since the beginning of the season (as evidenced by the famous video published by RDS), well that just changed.
Check out the new waves that will be deployed from now on:
"Canadiens PP units:
Drouin
Caufield-Monahan-Suzuki
Wideman
Gallagher
Dach-Dvorak-Hoffman
Guhle"
- Arpon Basu
You'll notice that Jonathan Drouin was indeed promoted to the first power play wave, along with Cole Caufield, Sean Monahan, Nick Suzuki and Chris Wideman.
After getting some rare minutes in that situation, Drouin did well and now gets his chance as a regular on the first wave of the five-man attack.
He must have been very happy to hear that and it will be interesting to watch him. Go Jonathan!
