Tuukka Rask is now officially on his way back with HIS team, the Boston Bruins. The 34-year-old Finn will play his first game this season on Friday night, when he will be on duty for the Bruins AHL affiliate.
Rask signed a professional essay with Providence to prepare for his return in the uniform he has worn for the past 14 years.
I remind you that the star goalkeeper passed under the bistouris during the last summer period because of a tear in the labrum of the hip.
That said, he will soon be back with the Bruins, but in a different role, the one of supporting the young Jeremy Swayman, who is the future of the organization in front of the net.
I don't know if Rask will play second since Linus Ullmark does a great job, but one thing is certain, he will be near Swayman.
