TVA had a pretty embarrassing situation on Tuesday because of an impersonator of Kent Hughes, the Habs new GM.

The LCN show broadcast thought it was a greeting from Kent Hughes on Twitter. However, we can easily see that this famous message of Hughes was shared by a fake account of the new Habs GM.

How can you tell? The small cloud to the right of the name "Kent Hughes" is the best possible clue. Typically, individuals posing as well-known personalities use this method to clarify the falsity of the account.

This impostor even pinned the post to his Twitter account, much to his delight. This situation has really displeased the journalist Simon-Olivier Lorange of La Presse.

He mentioned that obviously, someone did not do his job properly at TVA. However, he thinks that the impostor's post was really stupid.

One could even think that a researcher risks to be firmly chided by his bosses or even lose his job because of what happened.

Some may find this situation very funny at first glance. However, the journalist reminds us that researchers are under a lot of pressure to deliver the goods. From what we can deduce, the working conditions are rather difficult. He wanted to bring everyone back to order, explaining the background of the scene.

In short, this situation is not as funny as one might think.
