TSN host destroys Josh Anderson and it goes viral
In recent weeks, Josh Anderson's name has come up a lot in trade rumors, because Kent Hughes needs to trade at least one more big contract and also, because of the fact that Anderson has excellent value on the trade market. (Unlike some of the team's other high earners like Mike Hoffman)
Kent Hughes has been clear. He will trade Anderson if he gets a great offer he can't refuse, but it will take a lot.
There were even rumors during the 2022 draft at the Bell Centre that Anderson was almost traded for the seventh overall pick, but the trade involving Alex DeBrincat derailed everything.
In short, some observers don't understand why Anderson is in such high demand, or why he's worth so much on the trade market.
Some are more vocal about it than others, including Shawn Simpson (TSN).

One thing's for sure, if Anderson is indeed the centerpiece of a possible trade with the Winnipeg Jets involving Pierre-Luc Dubois, we imagine Simpson will have a very strong opinion of the deal.
