While it really seems to be only a matter of time before Pierre-Luc Dubois becomes a Montreal Canadiens player, and while the Winnipeg Jets are losing more and more of their bargaining power (remember the time Dubois got out of Columbus), a new trade proposal has just surfaced.
TO MONTREAL - Pierre-Luc Dubois and a pick
First of all, do you think the Jets would accept, knowing that they don't really have a choice anymore?
Secondly, do you think Kent Hughes would do it, to settle this matter immediately?
In any case, it seems obvious that Christian Dvorak would be included in any trade with the Jets involving Dubois, and on the other hand, Anderson currently has excellent value on the market.
It could really depend on the pick in question.
Remember that the Jets had to pay a lot of money to acquire Dubois in the past, including letting
Patrik Laine and
Jack Roslovic, two former first round picks, go.
