We were telling you about it 24 hours ago, three players were placed on NHL waivers yesterday, and the other teams had until 2 p.m. today to claim them.
We are talking about: two forwards and a goalie, who were available for free.
- Forward
Clark Bishop (Ottawa), forward Ryan Dzingel (newly acquired by the Leafs) and goaltender Carter Hutton (Arizona).
Bishop, 25, has 1 point in 9 games this season.
Dzingel, 29, has seven points in 26 games this season. He is recognized for his great season in 2018-19 with the Ottawa Sens. (44 points in 57 games)
Hutton, 36, has played three NHL games this year.
Bishop and Hutton went unclaimed and are heading to the AHL, but Dzingel was picked up by the San Jose Sharks!
We were talking a few days ago about the very eventful week of Adam Brooks, but Dzingel had a special one too, after being: traded from the Coyotes to the Leafs, after being placed on waivers by the Leafs, then claimed by the Sharks.
