Patrick Roy has just received excellent news and his efforts are finally rewarded

As you know, after three seasons as head coach of the Colorado Avalanche in the National Hockey League, Patrick Roy has returned to the QMJHL. (with the Quebec Remparts)

He continues to gain a lot of experience and he is certainly getting better and better every year as a leader. Remember that Roy openly mentioned that he wanted to come back to the NHL and he even hired an agent to help him reach his goal.

After being considered for the position of GM of the Habs and being asked for the position of head coach after the dismissal of Dominique Ducharme, the former number 33 is still with the Remparts.

After leading the Quebec Remparts for the first time from 2005 to 2013, Roy is now in his second stint with the Red Devils since 2018-2019 and let's just say that the team's fans are very happy to have his services.

He is having a great time right now and his efforts over the last few years are definitely starting to pay off:

- This year, his team won the Jean Rougeau Trophy, awarded to the best regular season team in the QMJHL.

- His team has already reached the semi-finals of the QMJHL championship and clearly has a chance to win the precious trophy.

- Patrick Roy won the QMJHL general manager of the year award. This is his first individual award since joining the league.

And he could soon add another one.

Solid! His efforts are finally rewarded and in a brilliant way!

Roy has already won the Maurice-Filion trophy, awarded annually to the general manager of the year, and he could now win the Ron-Lapointe trophy (head coach of the year).

Imagine that. Patrick Roy could get away with it this season:

- The regular season championship (in the pocket)
- Head coach of the year
- GM of the year (in the pocket)
- Playoff championship
- Memorial Cup?

Things are going very well for him and his troops!
