One analyst made a surprising statement about Artturi Lehkonen

Artturi Lehkonen is a hard worker who has been appreciated by his coaches, as well as the Habs organization, for a long time.
He's not the best offensively, he's sorely lacking in scoring opportunities on a regular basis. However, once in a while, he gets his share of points.
Analyst and former defenceman Denis Gauthier chatted about the Finnish winger last night on L'Antichambre. He said Lehkonen is more valuable to the CH than he is on the trade market.
What does that mean?
Lehkonen is much more valuable to the Habs than he can be to other teams. The Habs don't have 36 players like him on their roster, so he would be VERY difficult to replace.
Although the Habs could get a second or third round pick in exchange, the identity of which is not yet known, the Habs would be better off keeping his services. Lehkonen is an established young veteran and his reputation is already made in Montreal. He is a sure bet!
Moreover, Lehkonen has a very important place in the heart of Quebecers, he scored THE most important goal for the Habs in 2021. That famous overtime winning goal against the Vegas Golden Knights on June 24, to help his team reach the Stanley Cup Final.
It remains to be seen what direction Jeff Gorton will take in this matter.
