We told you about it yesterday, the Montreal Canadiens' Quebec forward Jonathan Drouin received more bad news as the organization announced that he is seriously injured again.

His long awaited return to the game will only last two short games.

Drouin's name was again placed on the injured list yesterday (upper body) and he will be out indefinitely.

On top of all that, he is currently home due to close contact with someone who has contracted COVID.

As reported by our colleagues at Marqueur.com, if Drouin's season is over and he misses the final few games (or at least misses 14 more games this season), that'll make him a total of 100 missed games in less than three seasons. Definitely not ideal.

On RDS's "L'Antichambre" program, journalist Norman Flynn admitted that he was worried about Drouin and the future of his career.

"I'm worried about him. I'm not worried about the Habs, they're going to do without Jonathan Drouin, I'm worried about him. Me I think his career is compromised, it's not going well for Jonathan Drouin. That's not how you want it to end. I hope he's going to play somewhere else and that he's going to get his hand back. Because the way he's playing, what he's showing, it's not going to end well."

"That's why I wish we could find a place for him and get his career going again. Because it may end up in Montreal with this contract. If he is bought out and there are no other options, it may end up like this. I don't wish it on him, but it doesn't look good." - Norman Flynn

Definitely worrisome words and we don't want this to happen, it would be really great if he could get some luck, stay healthy and revive his career with Martin St. Louis.

Drouin, 26, has 20 points in 34 games this season with the CH. (6 goals and -9 rating)
