New NHL Expansion Teams: Cities targeted includes one big surprise
In the last few seconds on TJMS, renowned tipster Elliotte Friedman went over the major announcement of the last few days that the National Hockey League would eventually add new expansion teams.
Of course, most fans and observers have already begun to speculate on the possible next cities to host an NHL team, and that's exactly what Friedman addressed.
True to form, he agreed to get wet and put forward some city names (with explanations).
"Friedman doesn't think expansion is necessarily imminent, but he also believes they (NHL executives) will possibly do it at some point because of the success Seattle and Vegas have had."

Wow. So it would indeed be conceivable to see the NHL add more teams in the next few years.
The cities put forward here are: Houston, Austin and Toronto? Imagine if Toronto gets a second team before Quebec gets one.
You can imagine that this proposal has caused a huge reaction and has surprised many people.
In your opinion, if the NHL does indeed eventually add two expansion teams, which cities will be chosen? Quebec City? Austin? Houston? Toronto again?
Knowing Gary Bettman's love for Canada, we'd be very surprised if he gave Toronto a second team, but just the fact that it's raised as a possibility is big.
