"MONTREAL – Almost a year after reappearing on the scene, METAL!, the unofficial mascot of the Canadiens, announced its retirement from hockey games on Friday.

The blue-furred character shared the news by posting a video on its social media, in which it can be seen adapting to its new retired life on the beach, in the south. [...]"

Well, the Canadiens really made us laugh and entertained us with this whole story surrounding the retirement of the METAL! mascot, but it's up to you to draw your own conclusions as to what this means for the powder blue Reverse Retro jerseys.
If we had to give our opinion, we would say that we will not see them again either.
