This appearance in Canada's biggest tournament could not have happened without the contribution of the CH's young hopeful. The 20 year old defenseman not only finished the playoffs with 16 points in 19 games, but also won the WHL playoff MVP award. Wow!
The veteran also finished the game with the first star of the game, scoring his eighth goal of the playoffs, a team record for a defenseman.
The defenseman adds hockey to a summer that will be quite busy to say the least. After playing in the Memorial Cup tournament from June 20 to 29, he will have a short break before joining his Team Canada Junior teammates to prepare for the World Junior Championship to be held in Edmonton from August 9 to 20. He will then join the CH training camp in mid September.
