As you know, there are currently many trade rumors linking Quebec forward Pierre-Luc Dubois to the Montreal Canadiens.
In fact, yesterday, Dubois' agent (Pat Brisson) did absolutely nothing to calm them down:
Plus, with Kent Hughes' press conference curiously delayed:
This is nothing to calm the ardor of observers who really believe that Pierre-Luc Dubois is about to move to Montreal. In addition, let's not forget the very interesting revelations of journalist Martin Leclerc:
Anyway, solid columnist Andrew Zadarnowski, who covers the Habs organization brilliantly, mentioned this:
"I assume any trade for Dubois starts with Florida's first-round pick, the one the Habs received in the deal involving
Ben Chiarot and a similar position player."
So here's a trade proposal that's been floating around a lot:
TO MONTREAL - Pierre-Luc Dubois
This would be the base (Dvorak would almost certainly be involved), but one imagines that, in order to complete the trade, the Tricolore's general manager would have to add one or two young prospects (like
Jesse Ylonen,
Ryan Poehling,
Riley Kidney,
Jan Mysak, Mattias Norlinder and company)
It might take one or two on this list.
Would you do it? What offer would you make to the Jets' GM?
