Mike Hoffman: what a false start with the Montreal Canadiens

On TVA Sports, JiC spoke with Marc-Andre Perreault and Philippe Boucher about the sudden injury that Mike Hoffman suffered before coming to Montreal. He was expected, the fans were anxious to see him, Dominique Ducharme and Marc Bergevin too, but it will be a postponement for all of them because of this little "injury".
We can say that it is a good tile on the head of the Montreal Canadiens. Marc Bergevin had all the reasons in the world to yelp since he granted 13.5 million dollars in order to reinvigorate the Habs' massive attack. We're talking about a straight shooter, one of the best in the league on the power play... But this one will miss the training camp, I remind you!
We're talking about a "minimal" false start, according to Jean-Charles Lajoie... and I have to agree with him. Look at Marc Bergevin's non-verbal statement, which indicates his state of mind or his reaction to Mike Hoffman's "bizarre" injury.
As Boucher wisely pointed out, one wonders about the player: why does he never sign long-term contracts? Why doesn't it work out pretty much everywhere? I'm not saying Hoffman is a problem case, but his attitude is still a question mark in my eyes.
Bergevin was proud to sign him and add him to his group. We couldn't wait to see him on skates with a Montreal Canadiens jersey, but we'll have to take our lumps!
