The question of the day, did Pezzetta go overboard with his "Tiger" Williams-like end-of-game celebration?
Indeed, the Tricolore's tough guy celebrated in an exaggerated manner following the goal that gave his team the shootout victory.
Speaking on TVA Sports' La poche bleue, the former National Hockey League coach didn't mince his words about Pezzetta's late-game gesture.
"You should never humiliate the opponent. That's a type of humiliation. He should have celebrated his goal in a different way. When I was a coach, I often told the players that you have to be humble in victory. For me, the team concept is important." -Michel Therrien
Former NHLer Antoine Roussel agrees, believing the move could have repercussions next year when the two teams meet again:
"You never want to disrespect your opponents because they can make you look bad later. That's a dangerous line. The guys are proud. You never want to embarrass them. That's how I look at it."
