The CH won't have much time to celebrate their victory over the Buffalo Sabres on Monday night as they will face the Flyers in Philadelphia on Tuesday night. For the occasion, the opposing coach, John Tortorella, has a nice surprise for the CH.
Indeed, he announced this morning that Quebec forward Nicolas Deslauriers will return to the game after missing a few games due to an injury.
The former CH will certainly be motivated not only to return to the game, but also to play against his former team. Deslauriers will complete the Flyers' fourth line with Scott Laughton and Travis Konecny.
It could be a bumpy ride!
In 70 games this season, Deslauriers scored 5 goals and 6 assists for a total of 11 points. He also accumulated 111 penalty minutes, including 10 fights. It's too bad we cant see a replay of the November 19th battle when Arber Xhekaj faced the veteran Flyers forward.
The colorful Flyers coach also mentioned that Carter Hart will be the one to guard the net for his team.
For his part, Martin St-Louis will trust young Cayden Primeau. It will be interesting to see how he does, as he will be playing at home in a way, as his father Keith played in Philly from 1999 to 2006.
