Last week, we reported that Swedish defenseman Mattias Norlinder would have said that he absolutely wanted to return to develop in his native Sweden, in an interview with a journalist in his country.
Patrik Bexell, who covers European prospects for Eyes on The Prize, was the first person in North America to broach the subject, and he has now revealed other important details about the story.
Indeed, the latter was on the Game Over porcast, hosted by Andrew Berkshire, and he took the opportunity to reveal that not only would Norlinder's words have been reported as they were said, but some sequences of this interview would never even have come out in the media because they would be even more compromising!

Would Norlinder have let his emotions out on the CH? After all, Bexell also revealed that the initial plan was to let him go back to his country, so he would not be happy with his treatment, as he is currently playing with the Laval Rocket.
Norlinder's words, however, are likely to have been directed at people who are now unemployed in the organization. The next Tricolore staff will have to manage this file very carefully if they don't want to alienate one of their young prospects.
