In a press conference yesterday, after his team's emotional game, the Montreal Canadiens' interim head coach, Martin St-Louis, was asked about many subjects, including, of course, his goaltender Carey Price.
He was asked what the plan was for the number 31 goaltender going forward, and he answered this:
"We hope he plays as many games as possible. If Carey wants to play, he'll play." - Martin St. Louis
And he adds:
"We'll listen to Carey. We hope he plays as many games as he's capable of." - Martin St. Louis
So it's understood that, regarding Carey's usage between now and the end of the season, it's Price's choice as to when and where he wants to keep the goals. On the other hand, the head instructor said that the chances of him playing again tonight (a second game in two nights) are slim.
