During his post-game press conference, Montreal Canadiens head coach Martin St-Louis made a big move.

As veteran journalist Pat Hickey covered his last Montreal Canadiens game, check out what Martin did right at the start of his media availability:

Before another reporter could ask a question, he took the time to pause everything, to take the time to greet Hickey (and to give him the floor)

St. Louis had a little interaction with Hickey, before congratulating him on a great career.

"You've seen some great things, you've seen some not-so-great things, but I really hope we make you proud of the Montreal Canadiens, even in your retirement.

Today you're going to get the first question, you're going to get the last question, and I want to make sure you get to ask absolutely any question you want to ask."

- Martin St. Louis, speaking directly to Pat Hickey

Great class!

We say it again, but it's very rare to see a head coach make such a gesture towards a journalist. It says a lot about St. Louis and it says a lot about Pat Hickey.

Happy retirement Mr. Hockey!
